Keshav Baljee, as the President & Co-Promoter of BSE / NSE listed Royal Orchid Hotels Limited, had driven the expansion process of the group, starting from 6 to nearly 20 hotels, thereby making the group a nationally recognized brand. He not only designed the group’s ambitious expansion strategy, he was also instrumental in turning the group into a hotel development company from an operating one. He was also responsible for the various Finance, PR, IT and Marketing initiatives within the organization.

Keshav is an alumnus of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, the Engineering School (Computer Engineering), University of Pennsylvania, and the Indian School of Business (ISB, Hyderabad). He has graduated with honors at all the above institutions. He has also worked as an Investment Banker with Lehman Brothers and UBS in the M&A department.

His experience with Royal Orchid Hotels led him to conceptualize Spree Hotels – the first hospitality brand designed for the evolved, modern global traveler to India. Spree will incorporate things Keshav is passionate about – modern decor, a full service-focus, cutting edge technology, and a deep respect for the environment.

Shaista Baljee
Director

Shaista is a expert in Marketing & Communication with degrees from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and the Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. She has helped conceptualised the hip, young, brands - Spree, Zip and Spree Longer, and forms and integral part of our leadership team. As a Director and major shareholder of Spree Hotels, she is responsible for the leadership and direction of the company.

Gaurav Goyal is a graduate of Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) from Gwalior. He has previously worked with Taj Hotels, Jay Pee Hotels, and Lemon Tree Hotels. In his last assignment, Gaurav was the General Manager – Bangalore Region for Lemon Tree Hotels, Bangalore.

As Vice President, Gaurav is responsible for the operations of existing hotels, and the pre-openings of upcoming hotels.

Dritiman Kabade, Area General Manager - Pune

Dritiman Kabade graduated from Kolkata IHM and has been appointed as the new Area General Manager of Spree Hotels-Pune, taking care of the first flagship property - Spree Shivai Hotel that marked its entry into the Indian hospitality market recently.

With a career spanning over 19 years, Mr. Kabade is a skilled professional whose last assignment was with Estique Hotels as the Corporate General Manager.

In his current role as the Area General Manager of both the properties of Spree Hotels in Pune - Spree Shivai and Royal Park, his focus will be on the overall up-keep and management of the hotel. In addition to this, he is also responsible for human resource development, client servicing and improving corporate public relations.

Jaheer Abbas, Manager - Human Resources

Jaheer Abbas is an MBA in Human Resource. He has previously worked with EEFA Luxury Business Hotel & Lords Hotels & Resorts.

In his current role as the Manager – Human Resources, Jaheer is responsible for the Corporate Human Resources of Spree Hotels & Resorts.

Vinod Kumar, Corporate-Housekeeper

Vinod Kumar is an Hospitality professional, An astute team leader with 12 years of experience in the area of Housekeeping operations. He has worked with Oasis Beach Hotel Dubai, Royal Orchid Group of Hotels, Zuri Whitefield Bengaluru, ITC Fortune. His last assignment was with Sobha Developers Limited as PAN India Manager Housekeeping.

Currently designated as Corporate Housekeeper to ensure high quality across the Spree Group.

Naresh Vadla, Executive - Accounts

Naresh Vadla is a Graduate from S. K. University from Kadiri (A.P.). He has previously worked with PAD Organization & Infants Travels. His last assignment was with Ivy the Unwind Island (A Unit Of Infants Hospitality Pvt. Ltd.) as an Accounts Executive.

In his current role as the Executive - Accounts, Naresh is responsible for the Corporate Accounts & Finance Operations of Spree Hotels & Resorts.
